Ling Siew Woei, the fine art program at UNIMAS, especially the inclusion of electronic art in the curriculum, was a respond to ICT implosion, as initiated and advocated by Tun then (1990s). We were specifically requested to design a fine art curriculum that would also equip students with ICT know-how. Designing UNIMAS Fine Art curriculum, establishing a new program (kebun) with a new mindset then (together with my guru Fauzan Omar, Niranjan Rajah, Zulkarnain Zainal Abidin, Rashidah Salam, Wan Jamarul Imran) was amongst the most challenging, yet exciting and memorable periods of my career.
