Reform begins at a personal/individual level first. Individual reform may begin by acknowledging the complimentary symbiosis of two spiritual & epistemological leanings:
1. Head: cognitive, facts & logic, verbal, rational, empirical, positivist, thinking spirituality
&
2. Heart: knowing by intuitive feeling, subjectivity, interpretive, phenomenological & affective spirituality
Each leaning contains two stages of experience. All four stages complete a spiritual wheel.
