MICROCOSM & MACROCOSM
In this project, @afza.nizam
& I explored the use of sticker, epoxy, glitter, top lighting & surface reflection. The purpose was to expand the confining height of the space by creating an illusion of depth. Visually we tried to merge the microscape with the macroscape, between the molecular world and the sub-atomic world of particles, between human biology, astronomy & quantum physics. The hexagonal shapes can be seen in both macro structure of the gallery and micro surface of the center floor. For us, the project partly reflects our training in fine art, and exposures to human biology, astronomy and quantum physics. This space celebrates multiple disciplines of knowledge.
