MAKE PEACE WITH OURSELVES

If we were hurt, heal ourselves. Then others may hopefully be healed too.

@aininahasnul ... and all the mias, ninas & dellys in my life (anak2 murid).

Its ok if we cant travel to Japan. Abah will bring it to @rumahtokcu. Well, at least its zen garden. Zen garden teaches us that its not just about knowing & having, its more about being. Beingness is about being in the now, 'sekarang', in the moment, physically, mentally, emotionally. All in harmony, vibrating and echoing in tune. You think and feel about the past and the future, now. There is only now. What we decide to be now, we will be in the future. So we have to decide wisely what we want to be. What we focus to be now, will grow. What do we want to be?

Beingness is not knowingness and havingness. Knowingness can make us arrogant and even insecure. Beingness makes us humble and submit to Greatness that cant be described.

As we engage in the act of filling in our life, in knowing & having something, we should also engage in emptying, in being nothing(ku, in Japanese). Always return to that empty nothing state. We do that 5 times a day. We say 'no' (La in Arabic) to all thots, feelings & forms, no to all things (nothingness state) in order to return & b in the embrace of The Most Loving & Compassionate.

But we can only be in nothingness state by excusing our presence & beingness from our thots & feelings (thots and feelings are something not nothing). If they still follow us, let them b, dont feed them, just bare witness. Stay in that nothingness, in the embrace of no beginning no ending, formlesness, timelesness. The door of beingness is silence. Silence brings peace. A house is a door towards silence (diam) and peace (aman) = kediaman.

After our 'returns' to silence and peace, we can go back and pick up our thots & feelings to start becoming again, but with a refreshed and clear knowingness.

Thats what abah have learnt from spending hours & hours in such garden in Fukuoka, Kyoto, Yamaguchi, Osaka, Tokyo & off course recently Fuji. Sometimes I share through my artworks, because art is my way of moving towards silence and peace.

Luv, Abah.
